"Snug Harbor Inn"
This was an absolutely gorgeous B&B with giant windows facing the shore. A telescope was set up on the deck to watch nesting bald eagle. Hot tub on the deck and a 2-person jetted tub in our room. Very romantic and relaxing, with no kids allowed (a huge selling point for us). Walking down by the tidal pools at low tide, we saw some very interesting giant purple starfish and a lot of other creatures I had never seen before.
Drove to Long Beach for the day. Sat on a rock and watched whales spouting in the distance. Great sunny day, the sand felt great. The water was too cold to swim, but I really enjoyed wading. Wish I had my dog with me.
"Where do we go for dinner?"
The only problem we had was dinner. In Ucluelet, there is virtually nothing. A drive to Tofino provided some choices, I guess I shouldn't expect much in the middle of nowhere. The breakfast at the B&B was outsatnding. Maybe we could convince them to serve dinner, too...
