You have to take the bus-boat from Vancouver North to Vancouver Downtown. Watch the old down-town city and smell the old-english history. You have also to visit Stanley Park. Go with your car into the mountains by noon, and watch the skyline. Absolutely fabulous.

go shopping! Here's a really nice photo of the Hudson's Bay department store in downtown Vancouver (also known as 'The Bay'). This is Canada's oldest incorporated company. While our sales taxes are high (7% GST & 7% PST), our dollar is low so it can be relatively inexpensive to shop here. MAC Cosmetics fans (like me): buy your MAC products at the Bay department store. Trust me, they are cheaper than anywhere else in the world. :)
