The hotel accomodations are small but ok, the shower is really nice and the treatment are really friendly.
I had problems with the breakfast service, whith is provide by a third party service. they charged me twice. I do not recomend the breakfast service.

I stayed in this hotel in May,the first room I was given was very small,very smelly and not very clean,I complained and was "up graded" to another very small room also very smelly and not very clean room,I came up in red welts on my neck,arms and legs,which lasted for sevral days,I was very disapointed with my stay in this hotel,This would have to been the worse hotel I have ever stayed in..there was nowhere even to make a cup of coffee,I don't know where the photos of these lovely rooms were and foyer they have posted as Barclay Hotel,but I sure never saw anything like that!!....So no I would not recommend this Hotel...D.H

The Barclay hotel is well-located on Robson Street in downtown vancouver. They gave me a very silent room and nobody bothered me. In addition you can have breakfast for less than 5 bucks in the "pub" downstairs on the left. I think Barclay has a good price-performance ratio. Silent, well-located, lots of shops & bars within walking distance. The Airporter stop is very closer.
Has anyone stayed at this hotel recently? If yes, can you give me your opinion about it?

It was remodeled some years ago, probably rate it a 2+ or perhaps a 3 star hotel. Excellent location, I would recommend it.
We were going to stay in this hotel next May but are going to the Quality Inn at False Creek instead. We are going for 7 nights and get a suite with kitchen for $731 inc tax.
I have read some reviews on tripadvisor.com regarding this hotel and it can be very hit and miss, compared to the Quality there is no competition.
