A little can go a long way

We were looking for cheap, and thats about all, we ended up staying at the Days Inn and were happy with our decision. It was nice to be in the heart of the city and not have to worry about taxi's or driving. The hotel was actually pretty nice inside, and the best part was Smiley O'neals next door.
The only thing I didn't like about it was the parking scenario, they don't have a parking lot so you are forced to pay for valey which is only $10 canadian but I'd would have rather not paid for that. Also they park the car under the YWCA right down the street so you really can't get into your car for say a sweater you need unless you call down 10 minutes early and have them pick up your car and bring it to the front of the hotel and then park it again.
It was $89 canadian for a 1 bedroom, which wasn't bad for being right downtown.

Can anyone give me their impression of either GREENBRIER or RIVIERA Hotels. Both on Robson. I'd like a quiet place but walking distance to the sights. Also DAYS INN VANCOUVER on W. Pender. Thanks.

The Riv is ok, alittle dated. Good views from the top floors. The Greenbrier is more of a youth hostel but with private bath. The Days Inn is in the CBD and close to the cruise terminal and all transit.

Q: Vancouver to Oakland Flight "Hi from Sydney, I am going to Canada in July and would like to go to San Fransisco by plane. I am also ok to fly from Belligham..."

A: "You could try Alegiant Air. They fly out of Bellingham and they are very reasonably priced. I think they fly nonstop to Oakland or San Francisco."
