We fouund this hotel by chance - just walked along the road looking for a place and this was one of the first we saw.... I was tired and we decided to take a chance on it.
The people were friendly and helpful and of course it was a central place to stay.
The person at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. He pointed out different areas where we could go to get our money exchanged, and it wasn't too far away from the mall or downtown. Rooms were small, but who cares, you're only sleeping there anyway.
It has a courtyard in the middle of the hotel. We picked up a coupon booklet for hotels, and this was one of the places in there for $39.99 US a night. At first I was skeptical about how the place would be since it was so cheap. I can honestly say that it was better than some hotels in the $60 range, and they give you a voucher for a free muffin and drink at the McDonald's next door. It was great to be able to spend your money having fun instead of on a hotel.
Days Inn Vancouver Metro: Okay accomodations; pricey for quality.

Days Inn Courtyard

This Hotel was clean and safe, but the rooms were quite small for the price of 95 american dallors, for triple occupancy and one of the beds being a cot. The location in the suburbs of Vancouver is quite poor although it is within a relative walking distance to a sky train station. The Coffe they provide in the morning is mostly hot water and the "Breakfast" consists of a voucher to the next door Mcdonald's of a muffin and juice. The attendents at the front desks were very friendly.
