We stayed at the Holiday Inn...

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Capilano Road. It was very inexpensive (we were there in the off season) and very close to the places we most wanted to visit (Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain). It was a short trip across the Lion's Gate Bridge to downtown Vancouver. But, we were away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The rooms were very nice and spacious and very clean. The motel supplied a complimentary breakfast every morning from 6:30 to 9:30. It included cold cereal, muffins, croissants, bagels, danish pastry, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. They also let us know about a private shuttle service to and from the airport that was much less expensive than a cab.

Q: Vancouver to Oakland Flight "Hi from Sydney, I am going to Canada in July and would like to go to San Fransisco by plane. I am also ok to fly from Belligham..."

A: "You could try Alegiant Air. They fly out of Bellingham and they are very reasonably priced. I think they fly nonstop to Oakland or San Francisco."
