Honeymoon
I went here on Honeymoon. The hotel is clean and the rooms big and spacious. A short walk from downtown and a great restaurant across the road.
I would stay here again but would probably go to Vancouver Island rather than Vancouver.
There was also a free wine tasting every night to get you in the bar but there was no hint that you had to stay any longer and spend money if you didnt want to.

Fabulous Stay
I spent two wonderful nights at this hotel. It is located a half block from Robson Street with its many shops and restaurants. I arrived early in the morning, not the usual check-in time, and was immediately checked in by a pleasant and friendly clerk. In fact, I was given an upgrade and ended up in a beautiful suite with living room, kitchenette, terrace and dining area instead of the single room I had reserved.
Besides the location, which is top notch, the hotel staff was friendly and quick to respond to my every request. Room service was quick and the meal was delicious. The Kimpton hotels have the best beds of any hotel I have ever stayed in. And they provide thick, luxurious, animal print robes for guest use. Internet service was free and excellent. What more do you need?
Unique Quality: This hotel has good views of the river and the mountains from some of the rooms. They also have a gorgeous olympic size pool and sauna. There is a fine restaurant on the premises as well which I have found to be typical of Kimpton properties.
There is a free wine and cheese reception daily but I did not attend as I was too busy sightseeing!

Good address, centrally located
This hotel is located in the Robson Street. Clean rooms and friendly staff. We stayed one night and its situation allowed us to reach everything in walking distance: Stanley park, the harbour, Gastown, shopping. To recommend.

Very Chic, Great Location
This hotel looked awesome in the pictures; kind of different and modern and it didnt dissapoint at all. The colors and the decor were very "South Beachish" and the location is wonderful - right on Robson street just a short walk from tons of shopping and restaurants. There is a mini bar complete with snacks for very reasonable prices and a great selection.
The one thing I didnt like about this hotel was the very narrow hallways. Not that it was a big deal unless you had tons of luggage, then it might be kind of hard to maneuver.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vancouver.

Great place to have breakfast
We enjoyed breakfast at this hip hotel after staying at a budget place across the street (for about 1/4 of the price) - would stay here if i had the extra cash

Unique Quality: This hotel is wonderful and very unique. It's part of the hiphotel.com group, and it lives up the name. The hotel is not a typical 4 ½ start hotel, because it has a very casual and laid back staff. I totally recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vancouver. The location is excellent too, right in the heart of Robson Street downtown, the MAIN shopping strip and the busiest tourist/local street in Vancouver.

A: "You could try Alegiant Air. They fly out of Bellingham and they are very reasonably priced. I think they fly nonstop to Oakland or San Francisco."
