Great Rooms,Great Prices,Great Location....Perfect

We were walking by the hotel, we liked the colour of the building, so we were curious enough as such, we inquired about the prices.
The price was very reasonable considering it was downtown Robson Street and so we requested to view the room and WOW what an amazing room, it was very clean ,spacious and looked renovated. We reserved the room and we went back to our other hotel and shortened our stay
and came to check into the Robsonstrasse Hotel & Suites the next day and the manager introduced himself as he was walking past us. He asked if this your first time here in this hotel - as we told him, we were walking by esterday and this was perfect ,after viewing the room, He instantly upgraded us from a standard room King to an Executive Studio King at the same rate of the standard King. That was very nice ....that's customer service... that's Valuing your customer. I would definitely recommend this hotel and continue to choose this as my vacation destination hotel in Vancouver.

Unique Quality: Great Prices, Great Rooms, Great Location, the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful
Free wireless internet and hard wire internet line ( secure line)
They also have family suites ( up to 8 persons)
they do short term and long term stays which is terrific if I was looking for monthly style apartments in Vancouver
they have in house self serve guest laundry facilities

older hotel, spectacular comfort

We had a stay over the christmas holiday 2010 and, as usual, we enjoyed our stay greatly. The staff are just as friendly and outgoing as they were the last several times we have stayed at this hotel. They attempted their all to make our stay the best it could be despite the fact that they could not provide round the clock room service. As always it was made up for by providing us new locations to go and see and great restaurants to dine at.
The hotel itself is slowly changing and we noted several small changes since the last stay; like the new beds, new appliances and secure wireless internet. We were also informed that, at some point in a potential furture stay, that there may be a new feature (netflix) to accompany their adsl internet connection...for small daily fee, but we were happy to hear that, because everyone knows that pay perview is seriously expensive. You pay a flat daily fee and get to watch as many movies as you want with the netflix....I look forward to a deal like that!
I definitely recommend this well priced hotel for anyone else who wants a good price, friendly service, older, but clean rooms and a prime location! Go! Go! Go, people!

Unique Quality: For it's surprisingly low price it is a spectacular location! Right on expensive Robson street for good prices...can't go wrong with that!

I had an amazing stay at the Robsonstrasse Hotel

It was great. We made an online reservation through their web site ( www.robsonstrassehotel.com)
We had never stayed here and we had read some review ( some good and some Bad). When we arrived at the Hotel, and we were greeted warmly. Our room was terrific, clean comfortable and modern looking.
The Front Desk staff was very accommodating and helped us to plan our daily travel activities.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and any future visitors. The location, the price , the staff and the room was all terrific

Unique Quality: Great rooms, Reasonable prices, and ideal downtown location . Minutes from Stanley Park and shopping centre

Do not stay here if you respect your comfort!

The room is cold even when you maximize the heater and the room service is so irregular and irresponsible!
The gym equipment are half broken!
The laundry is too expensive, $4 for washing and $4 for drying!
The hotel manager is an impolite person, so don't get shocked if you find him talking to you rudely (he is absolutely uncultured!). Be careful he will look for fake damages in the room to take away money from your deposit when you check out!
The room's view sucks!
The room and parking keys are not working properly due to its magnetic failure, You'll need to ask the front desk to recharge them almost everyday, and you may get stuck entering the parking sometimes which is really annoying!
Some rooms have a stove but they have no hood, so even if you cook lightly the smell will go around, and opening the windows wont help!

As a friendly advice, try other hotels nearby if you respect your privacy and comfort!

Good location

We stayed at the Robstonstrasse Hotel on May 3-June 3, 2006. It is well located - On Robson St in the midst of many restaurants, a few blocks from several internet cafes ($1 for 1/2 hr), and 1/2 block from the #5 Robson St bus. People at the front desk were not particularly friendly. The lobby looks a bit rundown. The room would be very small but for the "suite" aspect - an alcove with a kitchen area and a small table and chairs. No luggage racks. There were no dishes in the kitchen, but I think you can pay extra and get them. We paid $99 Canadian per night during the week and $119 C on Sat. night. This is expensive but everything in Vancouver is expensive (food is much more than in Chicago, for example, in comparable places). The room was clean. The bathroom was small but not tiny. The tv had the most stations of any we stayed at in our 3 week trip. There is a laundry room in the basement which costs C$4 to wash and C$2 to dry. However, it is only available to hotel guests from 6:30p.m. to 11 p.m. You need to take a bus to most locations. It is a bit far to walk. I would stay here again if I could not find anything cheaper.

Q: Vancouver to Oakland Flight "Hi from Sydney, I am going to Canada in July and would like to go to San Fransisco by plane. I am also ok to fly from Belligham..."

A: "You could try Alegiant Air. They fly out of Bellingham and they are very reasonably priced. I think they fly nonstop to Oakland or San Francisco."
