We had a reservation for 2 nights and we arrived mid afternoon and registered. When we went to our room the room began to vibrate and we looked out the back window to see if we were on a train line. We weren't but we soon realised that our room was next to the lift and was the noisiest that we had ever encountered. We immediately notified reception of our concern and requested a move thinking it would not be a problem as we knew the hotel wasn't full. We were wrong. It appears that is not there policy and we requested to speak to the manager whose name was "Suni". He point blank refused even though we indicated that we didn't believe anybody could sleep under those conditions but to no avail. The lift was going all night and needless to say we were correct in predicting the lack of sleep.
the exterior of this hotel really does not do justice to it. the lobby is just a small counter with 1 staff most of the time. the only lift is really small and slow. but once u enter ur room, u will be surprised by its design and space. ours was either a twin or a double room i'm not sure. there were 2 double beds and 2 television sets! and the nice thing is the beds were not arranged in the traditional side by side arrangement. instead, the room was separated into 2 sections and the arrangements were such that the one room was actually 2 rooms just without the divider. so loads of space and just the right amount of privacy from ur room mate!
breakfast was provided but it was just some muffins, croissants and toast. breakfast was served in a tiny room thats resembles a living room of a studio aprtment.
