  • We had a reservation for 2 nights and we arrived mid afternoon and registered. When we went to our room the room began to vibrate and we looked out the back window to see if we were on a train line. We weren't but we soon realised that our room was next to the lift and was the noisiest that we had ever encountered. We immediately notified reception of our concern and requested a move thinking it would not be a problem as we knew the hotel wasn't full. We were wrong. It appears that is not there policy and we requested to speak to the manager whose name was "Suni". He point blank refused even though we indicated that we didn't believe anybody could sleep under those conditions but to no avail. The lift was going all night and needless to say we were correct in predicting the lack of sleep.
