This hotel not only sits in what quickly became my favorite neighborhood in the city (Robson Street just a few blocks from Stanley Park), but it also offers great accommodations. The suites themselves are very large... one bedroom, a living room, and a full kitchen with limited dishes and utensils. Both the living room and bedroom have outstanding views of the city; in our case a 180 degree panorama toward the northwest. The rooms can accommodate as many as four people comfortably on the sleeper-sofa and the king-size bed. Parking is free (but limited to fewer spots than rooms!), pool and coin laundry room are available.
The hotel is located at the western end of Robson Street, near Stanley Park, but also easily accessible to the waterfront (3 blocks), Gastown (maybe 15 blocks, or 1/2 mile), and even Chinatown and the stadium (about 20 blocks, about 1 mile). There are great restaurants and bars just our the front door!
Summer rates are C$139 per night with an extra C$10 per person. Off season rates are as low as C$89 -- a real steal! Our total bill in June/July 2007 was C$162 per night including taxes.
My only complaint was the lack of wireless internet access... surprisingly not even available to "borrow" from neighboring hotels or apartments.
