Okay, so you are going to visit Vernon.. take it from me, I landed in BC for my first time and drove to this small town without any idea of what it was like. This place could have been a dump, an unforgiving hole with bad weather and uninteresting people. It turned out to be the best kept secret of B.C. 40 minutes from the wine regions of Kelowna, an hour from the monashee mountain ranges, and easy access to hiking clubs, sky diving, sailing, EXCELLENT hostel, camping, biking, Ultimate Frisbee, and other adventure sports. Man this place kicks ass! (picture later)
