Our stay at Beacon Hill Bed and Breakfast was dreadful.. We stayed for a month and found the lady managing the place very unorganised and disoriented. It seemed like all she cared about was filling up her place, in the process she overbooked our little one room cottage. Initially we were supposed to have the One Bedroom cottage but when we arrived she explained that she only had the One Room as she had already given out the other one. Well we settled in under the impression that we were going to move into the One Bedroom in a week, but that didnt happen.
Not wanting to make a fuss and having already settled in we decided to just stay put. A few days later though we were in for a shock. The lady showed up at our door one sunday morning telling us that we would have to move into the Main House....which we never even looked at, since she had booked the One Room we were living in to someone else (and completely forgot about it apparently). Well to make a long story short, we were horribly stressed all day with her coming back and forth and giving us all kinds of solutions (all the way maintaining that she was doing us a favour of some kind) and we had to be adamant about how we had no intention of moving.
It left a bitter taste in our mouth, so to speak and we definitely didnt enjoy living there anymore. Also we went home every evening just hoping that our stuff was still there and not moved somewhere else, which didnt make for pleasant outings.
Unique Quality: The property itself is very nicely kept, with quaint features.
