A pleasent enough stay but if you are walking, be aware that it is about a 30 min brisk walk to the center of downtown Victoria from this hotel but it is not unpleasent, with many stores to see on the way and the ground fairly level all the way or you can pick up a BC Transit bus from nearby which will take you into downtown for a Dollar.
BC Transit from the Ferry terminal pass this hotel so you can travel almost to the door for C$3.00 each way if you ask the driver to point out the stop
Worth paying a lttle more for rooms in the annex to the hotel which appear to be new, although the downside is that it fronts onto HWY 17 so there is traffic noise if the window is open from around 5.30am
