More about Gazebo
5 Star Charm
We had and excellent stay at the Gazebo B & B. We stayed the Garden Room and it was the nicest room we stayed at during our entire 14 day adventure throughout the Island. The bed was superb. The Jacuzzi tub in our room was fantastic. The décor was charming. The full course breakfast was excellent and severed beautifully. The gardens were exquisite.
Even thought the B&B was not in the heart of the city we had a lovely time there. In fact being in such a quite area was a bonus we had not counted on, since we later learned that staying in the heart of the city of Victoria is very noisy. We found that being out of town slightly proved to be to our benefit. Our host directed us to a nearby restaurant that had delicious food, a great atmosphere and location (right on the beach) plus outstanding service.
We would highly recommend anyone visiting the Victoria Area of BC to spend some time at the Gazebo B & B. one of the best B & B we have ever stayed at.
Thanks again for a great trip.

Tranquility in Victoria
Our stay at the Gazebo B&B was fantastic. Linda and Martin were very accommodating hosts. They set up a roll away bed for our 15 year old daughter and gave us directions to our activities and ferry. We stayed in the Camelot room, which made us feel relaxed and pampered. It had an excellent Jacuzzi tub in a spacious bathroom. The Camelot room also had its own entrance and deck, which led to their well cared for gardens. Linda made a better-than-restaurant breakfast, which consisted of fruit, muffins, quiche, and yogurt. Our stay was tremendous and I wish we could have stayed for more than one night. I can positively say you will have a great stay at the Gazebo B&B and never want to leave.
Great stay at the Gazebo
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gazebo in the Regency Room and were made very welcome by Linda and Martin. The room was very comfortable and beautifully furnished and decorated. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to make use of the patio, enjoy the garden and the house's tranquil setting. It was also very helpful to be able to have access to their computer for sending some e-mails home.
It was good to explore the area, away from, yet near to Victoria itself. Sidney makes a nice location worthy of a trip and you can't go to this part without a visit to the Butchart Gardens.
“Delightful” in a word is how I would describe the Gazebo Bed and Breakfast. Linda and Martin Vernon (owners) are excellent hosts who are attentive to their guests’ comfort, queries, dietary considerations and are definitely a contributing factor to guests having an enjoyable stay. The rooms are enchanting, the grounds beautiful, peaceful and inviting. “AND” the breakfasts are spectacular with a tasteful variety of fresh fruit (from just down the road); fresh baked scones, muffins, quiches, frittatas; homemade jellies, etc., etc., etc. and of course, premium coffee and tea. All served exquisitely in an epoch dinning room. I recommend the Gazebo Bed and Breakfast to family, friends, co-workers and anybody I happen to hear going to Victoria.
Great room at Gazebo
We stayed in the Camelot room and were extremly happy with it. Great, super comfortable, king size bed with great linens, large bathroom with Jacuzzi for two and private entrance so you can come and go and not feel like you are disturbing anyone. Close enough to downtown so that you feel like you have access to everything but once you are on the property you feel a million miles away from any bustle. Great place to relax and get an awesome nights sleep.
Five Star +++++ Gazebo Bed and Breakfast
What a wonderful experience!! We found the Gazebo Bed and Breakfast on the web and booked it as a pre-Alaska Cruise stay in Victoria. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Martin and Linda, we knew our stay was going to be memorable. The home is decorated in the style of an English Tudor. The furnishing are lovely, tasteful and comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated with spacious bathrooms and jacuzzi tubs.Gardens abound. Martin could not have been more helpful in offering maps and restaurant suggestions. And the Breakfasts!!! Oh my...delicious fresh fruits, muffins, croissants, omelets, french toast, quiche..the list goes on and on. We found that most of the time we were not hungry until supper. My brother from California said he felt he had already had the best vacation ever and we hadn't even left for the cruise. Don't miss an opportunity to visit Victoria and this lovely B&B. You will love it and the owner's Martin and Linda. Col. Dennis and Mrs. McBride

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Gazebo Bed and Breakfast!
The rooms are immaculately clean, richly decorated, with all the ammenities. (Jaccuzi tub, in-room coffe, tea and hot cocoa, television, phone)
The breakfast was superb, featuring a generous portion of fresh local berries in addition to the scruptous full meal. I've never had better scones!
Linda and Martin provided excellent advice on local attractions, and even provided us with cushions to sit on while viewing the fireworks display at the nearby Buschart Gardens.
Guest rooms have private entrances. There is a lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee or a good book.
I highly recommend a visit.

Our recent trip to Victoria B.C. was made even more enjoyable by a stay with Linda and Martin Vernon. Not only do they have la ovely B&B with and terrific breakfast, but they also were particularly helpful with information and advise on area attractions, routes of travel and things to avoid.
We recommend the Gazebo B&B in Victoria B.C. with out reservation.
An Incredible Experience
We have been travelling to Victoria for over twenty-five years, ever since my parents (David's) moved to Oak Bay in 1981. Through the years my parents were in Oak Bay we always had a place to stay, home. In the 80's a favourite tea spot for my parents was what is today the Gazebo B&B. In 2000/2001 both parents passed away and our visits to Victoria are now quite different, we have been searching for the right place the past five years. We have found it! Martin & Linda have done a wonderful job with the Gazebo B&B; wonderful interior design (we stayed in the Camelot room); beautiful gardens; exquisite bathroom; delicious breakfasts; and most of all wonderful hosts. There is no doubt we will be returning over and over again.
Thank you Linda & Martin for a wonderful stay.

Couldn't have been better!
Martin and Linda were very polite and helpful, giving directions and recommendations very patiently. The place is in a very peaceful setting, great to unwind after a busy day whale watching, walking the Butchart gardens or shopping downtown by the marina. It was clean, perhaps a bit overdecorated but the bed was excellent and the food was fabulous. I would definetely recommend them and would come back again.
