Fancy-Shmancy Hotel at a Decent Price!!!
I didn't stay here, but my friends did, so I was able to check their room out and the hotel's great amenities! I wish I had paid a few dollars more and stayed at this hotel instead of the one I did stay at!!! .......next time for sure!!!
Everything is tasteful about this hotel.....the rooms, the lobby, the elevators (if you have luggage!!!), the service, the location, the view....a GREAT hotel for a great price!!!

Victoria Regent Hotel
We found an almost-to-good-to be-true deal: the Victoria Regent for 99 Canadian dollars + tax per night. Are there any really undesirable rooms ( next to the trash compactor, or next to a highway, etc ) ?
Any recommendations?

You won't be next to the highway as the hotel is bordered on one side by a narrow(ish) street and on the other by the water. You'll definitely get noise from incoming boats and float planes no matter what the room.
