Not bad

Booked this blind and though we were getting a 4 star hotel. The mrs was not impressed when she saw the website where we would be staying. Called the next day to complain and they said that all the hotels had been regraded prior to the Olympics and this place had gone up from a 3 to a 4 star. The lady at Whistler Blackcomb called the hotel manager about our concerns and they upgraded us to a gold room. The room was nice with a king bed, it wasn't really special though. Anyway ended up having a nice time. It's close to the lift and they have a bar on the ground floor. The pool and hottub were niceand quiet one day and then packed with kid the next! Parking is reasonable at $15 as some other places charge twice that. The hotel rooms here have no amenities eg microwave or cooker so bare this in mind.
