Where to stay in Whistler for two nights for anniversary trip.

Hi- we will be in Whistler in September and need a recommendation for a place to stay. We will have a car, we like the views of mountains (we live in flatlands) and we like really nice hotels (25th anniversary trip). It appears the Fairmont is full. HELP.

Why not try to stay at the latest Hotel Resort in Whistler, the Pan Pacific Village Centre opening this summer. If their other Whistler Resort, the Whistler Mountainside, is any model for the Village Centre then you should be very happy with this location. All the hotels mentioned above are great. Too bad the Chateau's not available.. but I personally like the Four Seasons. It's a bit on the expensive side, but very lovely rooms and great in room amenities. And you have to try out the spa there. I'm not partial to either the Pan or Westin. Both the Pan and Westin comes with kitchen facilities (studios suites, 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom units), which may or may not be what you're looking for. The other suggestion is Le Chamois. They have a few deluxe units with jetted soaker tubs in the bedrooms. Nice but if you want to splurge stick with the Four Seasons.
