We had a very nice stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were modern and clean. We were one of a group of four families, and when we ordered in pizza, and Chinese food the next evening, the staff let us use a boardroom to have our meals so we could all eat together, at no extra charge.
There's a nicely decorated front lobby with a fireplace, and free use of the Internet.
One night's stay, including tax, came to CAD$113. 03, which is bit less expensive than staying at the Comfort Inn in Edmundston. Would definitely stay here again.
This inn was built in 2002. Although they don't have a restaurant, they do have a very well-stocked continental breakfast. They had about 15 kinds of hot and cold cereals, about 10 different types of bread/English muffins/waffles, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, juices, milk, coffee, teas. This is more variety than I've seen at most other inns/hotels that offer continental breakfasts.
At the time (Feb., 2007), there was no exercise room or indoor pool.
In the rooms, there is a DVD player with a good selection of DVDs you can take out, at no charge. The beds are comfortable, there's cable TV, coffee maker with coffee and tea, iron, and in the bathroom, shampoo and soap are provided. Sliding doors on the first floor offer convenient loading & unloading of your baggage from your vehicle to your room.
Among the items not found in the rooms are conditioner, hand cream, or mouthwash. There's no pen in the desk, and only three coat hangers by the door.
