Amsterdam Inn Fredericton
This is one of the newer hotels in the City of Fredericton, having opened July 12th, 2004.
The Amsterdam Inn has 50 rooms. It is about a kilometer from the Regent Mall.
At last check, a couple for one night will cost you $107.00 CDN (about $81. USD).
I haven't stayed here yet, but I get the impression it's similar to the Lakeview Inn & Suites in terms of the amenities they offer.
Unique Quality: No pool or restaurant, but they have free DVD movies, and a DVD player in each room. They also have a complimentary continental breakfast.
Detailed directions:
If you're going eastbound on the Trans-Canada Hwy (Hwy 2), take the Fredericton exit to Hwy 8. Take the Hanwell Rd. exit (ex 3), turning left (south) onto Hanwell Rd. Then turn left onto Bishop Drive to the Inn, which is located beside the Saturn dealership.
If you're going westbound on the Trans-Canada Hwy (Hwy2), take exit 285B to Fredericton. As you come off the exit, you can only turn right. At the first set of traffic lights, turn left onto Arnold Drive. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left again and you'll now be on Biship Drive. Look for the Inn beside the Saturn dealership.
If you're already in the city, make your way to the intersection of Regent St. and Prospect St. Go south on Regent St. towards New Maryland, and at the second set of traffic lights in front of the Regent Mall, turn right onto Arnold Drive. At the next set of lights, turn left onto Biship Drive. Look for the Inn beside the Saturn dealership.

Lakeview Inn & Suites(formerly Country Inn Suites)
Very nice hotel. This place used to known as the Country Inn and Suites, and the building is less than 10 yrs old.
Modern and clean.
If you're checking their website, you'll see a wharf with a boy and his bicycle on it. I don't know where they took that picture, but there is certainly no lake beside Fredericton's Lakeview Inn. (!)
A room for 2 for one night will run you about $107. CDN (about US$ 81.00).
