Norfolk Motel
Among the budget-minded accomodations, this motel is located along the old Trans-Canada Hwy, now Route 105, on the north side of the St. John River, at the east end of the city.
Unique Quality: Detailed directions:
If you're going eastbound on the Trans-Canada Hwy (Hwy 2), follow Hwy 8 into the city. Stay on this highway, and don't take any of the exits. You will cross the Princess Margaret Bridge (no toll) to the south side of the river. Stay on the highway (it's also called Riverside Drive within the city limits, and you'll pass by the Ramada Inn on your right), and watch for the Norfolk Motel 1-2 kilometers later on your left.
If you're going westbound on the Trans-Canada Hwy (Hwy 2), take the exit into Fredericton via Hwy 7. Take the exit for Moncton. Cross the Princess Margaret Bridge (there's no toll) and follow the highway (called Riverside Drive), and you'll see the Norfolk Motel on your right.
