Auberge des compagnons: At the tip of the Acadian Peninsula

I haven't actually stayed here, but as there are so few commercial accomodations in this area, I thought I'd post some info about this place.

The "Auberge des compagnons" (which translates as "the Inn of the Companions") is located in downtown Lamèque, in the northeast corner of the Province of New Brunswick, known as the Acadian Peninsula.

Canada Select rates it 4½ stars out of 5.

The inn has 16 rooms, nine of which have two double beds, five have a queen-sized bed, and two others have queen-sized beds with either a large whirlpool, or a clawfoot bath tub. The latter two luxurious rooms also come with a bottle champagne.

All rooms are air-condtioned, have a high-speed Internet connection, and are smoke-free.

The inn has a multi-purpose room that will accomodate up to 60 people, there is a family lounge, and a lounge with a fireplace and bar. There is also free parking, which will accomodate motor coaches.

They have a buffet-style breakfast between 7-10 am each day, or an a-la-carte breakfast/brunch menu on Sundays.

Dinners, served between 5-10pm feature a variety of seafood items, roast beef, chicken, etc.
