While not the most exciting thing in the world, for 2$ its worthwile to go on Magnetic Hill. Because of its location below sea level this optical illusion is ineteresting. You bring your car to the bottom of the hill, take it out of gear and you actually coast backwards up the hill!
If you're going to go shopping...
If you're going to go shopping in Moncton, Champlain Mall is the biggest shopping centre in the province. I'm not a mall person, but if you are, you really should check it out. It's enormous. Canadians seem to like shopping malls in a really big way.
Lobster Capital of the World
Moncton had to be the biggest surprise for me on my little east coast Canadian tour. The people (like all Atlantic Canadians) were real friendly, the city itself was real nice, and the party scene was pretty good. More on this later...

"Tidal Bore Park"
Well, it is a nice park but the tidal bore is boring here.... not much action. Nearly all rivers, which empty into the Bay of Fundy, have bores. The action is caused by the 20 - 50 foot tides and the out flow of the river, which is reversed because of the higher tide entering the river mouth. The bore causes a large wave and turbulent waters.
I Went to Shediac because a close friend of mine's Grandmother lives here and he visits ervery summer. Shediac calls itself the Lobster Capital of the world and has a huge statue of a lobster at one end of town.
While getting a closer look at the lobster it grabbed me in a pincher! Heres a look at the last moments of my life...................(kidding hehe)
The water by Shediac is supposed to be the warmest ocean water north of the Equator. dont know if this is true but it was very warm :) Beware wwhen the water is warm in August, as this is the perfect climate for Jellyfish, There was Hundreds if not thousands in the water when I went in. They were easy to avoid, just keep in mind that they may be there, a jellyfish sting isnt too much fun...
