River Lodge Hotel: River Lodge Hotel - Mary's Harbour
The River Lodge Hotel is the biggest place to stay in Mary's Harbour. They have some newly built rooms which are nice. There is a small pub and the dining room is very nice with a deck on the back where you can see the river and the airport if you have to catch a flight.
I didn't have a picture of the hotel specifically so I just posted a general picture of the community.
I do have their web site address listed though. On their web site check out the photos in the photo gallery. I don't think its safe to get that close to a whale!

Alexis Hotel: Alexis Hotel
The Alexis Hotel is centrally located along southeastern Labrador in Port Hope Simpson.
I have stayed here and the food and rooms are nice. During my visit though they were undergoing a major expansion.
There are some rooms now that look right over Alexis Bay, they are very elaborate and beautiful.
You won't go wrong staying here while your in Port Hope Simpson!

Battle Harbour Inn: National Historic District Accomodations
If you make a visit to Battle Harbour the one of Canada's great National Historic Districts there are some of the most unique accomodations experiences you will ever find.
I have 8 additional specific tips on each option on my Battle Harbour page. You can follow the link below.
But to summarize Battle Harbour is a restored community right out of the 1800's. You stay in these very historic buildings and many of them have interpretation right in the accommodations, so its like staying in a museum.
They are also very quiet and quaint places to stay, very comfortable and I can't stay enough good about it. You will enjoy it here, trust me on this one.
Take one best step back in time :-). Turn off your lights and spark up the oil latern, then watch the fog roll through, its beautiful.

Cartwright Hotel: Cartwright Hotel
If you are at the most northern end of southeastern Labrador in Cartwright maybe waiting for the marine vessell or just getting off of it, you can stay at the Cartwright Hotel.
This building has gotten new additions recently because of the increase in traffic in the area with the opening of the road.
It's a nice place and the food is good there. Your host will be Mr. Dwight Lethbridge and they will take very good care of you. There is a bar attached to the hotel is well. Enjoy Cartwright!
