Nobody has mentioned in reviews of this place that the top floor room is tiny and bathroom is literally about 3 feet by 4 feet. You can't even really sit facing forward on the toilet, the bathroom is so small with ceilings that slope so much you can't really fit anywhere in the bathroom. Even a child would be cramped never mind a normal adult. The place is really inhospitable. My husband was given a single sheet of paper to print out our four boarding passes from their printer. There are aggressive signs warning you to remove your shoes while in the house that made me exceptionally uncomfortable since I am not willing to take off my shoes for every trip in and out of the house, esp while unloading luggage and other stuff from our car trip after trip. Avoid at all costs. St. Johns B and Bs have gotten very funky across the board. Owners used to love their houses and cherish good service but this new breed of owner appears to operate on a shoestring budget and to care more about making money than taking care of visitors. After decades of staying in B and Bs in St. Johns, I may reluctantly go to hotels from now on. Sign.
Unique Quality: Only good thing: view and AC but your stuff piled up may block windows since there is nowhere to put anything in the microscopically small room we were given. OMG, I bumped into the bed a dozen times and had to hold my stuff in my hands when using the bathroom as there was nowhere to put anything in there at all, including no room for me.
