Here at McCoubrey Manor Jill and Roy Knoechel will be your hosts. Or at least they were mine. Who knows how long my VT page will survive!

This place has a very historic feel to it. Everything in the Manor looks antique.

I didn't have much luck getting the high speed internet to work. That was a little frustrating. But I did have a nice bed in the Wiliam Butler Suite. This suite was on the ground level. That worked for me because lugging things over stairs has no appeal to me.

Named for the home's architect, the bright room featured a queen-size bed, ensuite bath, kitchenette with bar fridge, sink and microwave, twin sofa bed, TV/VCR, sitting area with stereo/CD player, and air conditioning. There is a desk for business travellers.

I was in a rush the next morning so I didn't get to enjoy the breakfast. I managed to get a coffee, a fresh muffin and got some fruit down in me.

I would stay here again but probably not in the near future. It is a four and a half star place but maybe for a more senior person.
