Coal Captain B&B

Louisbourg (which is a few kilometres from the Fortress) has some 6 or 7 B&B's. I'm not sure how we came to pick the Coal Captain's B&B, but we were quite happy with our choice. The B&B is central, the facilities were great, and the breakfast - as advertised - was a healthy smoked salmon on a bagel, etc.

We chatted with Mary K and Clarrie MacKinnon for a good part of the morning about topics such as the history of the building, about the B&B business as well as our pets and kids.

Lady Louisbourg B&B

Even though I was arriving late at night, they waited up for me. I small, clean room with attached bath was waiting for me for the low price of $40CN (about $28US)
