In the thick of things...
My stay was fantastic. The facilities are great and aside from the fact that it was a pain in the ass to get from my room to my friends (there are 2 towers), I couldn't complain. The business center was a relief and the staff were always friendly and helpful.
Unique Quality: The pool and workout area is real nice.

I've stayed at the Citadel...
I've stayed at the Citadel Hotel and the Sheraton Hotel.
Both hotels can vary but you can normally get a night's stay for 70 to 260 canadian
Unique Quality: The Sheraton is a casino and directly attached to the boardwalk. The Citadel overlooks citadel hill which is a historic site for when the loyalists used it as an outlook for incoming armies.

A fair price for downtown
(JUNE 21 2001) On this trip we stayed at the Citadel Halifax Hotel, 1960 Brunswick St.
$166.85 Canadian. (3 people)+
OVERNIGHT PARKING $7.00
Unique Quality: EXCELLENT Sauna and Pool, Good restaurant Great location near Citadel Hill and harbor. Across the street from the shopping Mall and inside walkways to the harbor board walk etc.

CITADEL INN
We stayed at the Citadel Inn which was really nice.
Unique Quality: It had a pool, whirlpool, small gym facility, sauna etc as well as a restaurant which I think was called Arthurs or something like that.. Its close to the centre of the city and main atrractions.
