This looks like a great restaurant, but it is officially listed as being in Hubbards, on St. Margaret's Bay. If folks start driving to Lunenburg, where it is listed at VT, before they read the fine print about Fox Point, they might be pretty hungry by the time they turn around and get to Shatford's, about 45 minutes away. Any thoughts on this?
I don't understand your question. Perhaps that might be why it hasn't been given a reply. I know the area from a few years back and I'll try to help if you will state the question so I understand, if you still want an answer.
The museum is located along Bluenose Drive and opens from May to late Oct (9.30am to 5.30pm). Staff will give explanations of the fishing industry and an aquarium on the first floor let you have a veiw of flounder, halibut and other native fishes.
Lunenburg was a bit of a disappointment to me. The town is a UNESCO world heritage site because of its close to complete ensemble of wooden houses dating back to the 18th century. I expected a wonderful small town with lots of nice houses - but I found a touristy small town with some nice houses. As Atlantic Canada has thousands of wooden houses, those of Lunenburg are not really something new to the visitor even if they are older than most. Nevertheless, I spend some good time there.
