Travel Tips for Lunenburg
Explore the streets of Lunenburg
The streets of Lunenburg are very beautiful and easy to walk around, so do walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. Also, the town is small so you will not get lost. These photos are taken during a leisure walk around town.
Because Lunenburg is mainly of German origin, a piece of the actual Berlin Wall in Germany was actually shipped to Lunenburg and placed there as a gift and symbolisation of the German culture here. I managed to take a photograph of this wall with me and my guide, Robert next to it :)

It was founded in 1753 and as such it is the second oldest British settlement of the province after Halifax. What makes Lunenburg so special today is the beautifully preserved architecture of Old Town Lunenburg, In fact, in 1995, it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List, thus joining the likes of Le Vieux Quebec and La Habana Vieja.
