I wish if you could zoom the full picture because it is so beautiful. It is not far
away from Peggy's Cove, therefore it is better to plan a trip to Lunenburg first
and then watch the sunset in Peggy's Cove.
The village is so quite and it attracts senior citizens. Still for impatient people like
me, the village is good for few hours to spend and hit the road to explorer more
of the towns near by.
Mahone Bay is amazingly beautiful and well known around Canada for its
beauty. Again its worth exploring for few hours.
Lunenburg celibrated its 250 year existance in 2003. The town is a UNESCO world heritage site. Lunenburg is located at the Lahave River and has a strong German influence, because after the town was founded by Mi'kmaq natives and Acadians a second wave of foreign protestant settlers came over from Germany, Switserland and the French Montbeliard region.
