We had no accommodation booked in advance and decided to stay at The Braeside Inn as we had looked at the website before when we were doing our research for our first visit to NS. We were given a couple of rooms to look at before making our choice and both were nice and clean and reasonably sized. The owners of the hotel, who were English, were really friendly and helpful.

The restaurant looks very nice but we decided to eat out and then managed to get up too late for breakfast so didn't get to sample the food. All in all a nice hotel - worth considering.
