We were after the Canadian cottage experience and this inn provided it. We stayed in one of the four suites in the Chalet, the lower one on the side closest to the beach. It was cozily and nicely decorated, large, and with a modern en-suite bathroom complete with 2-person hot-tub. The service was quite friendly and the meals were good in the dining room. In this neck of the woods, I would recommend this resort to friends.
There were various watercraft that we could use, free of charge, even though it was early May. I tried the water-bicycle for a few minutes, but my wife and I spent most of our time out in a canoe. There are many tiny islands to explore and rocks to dodge, so it is fairly interesting canoeing. We also used the resort's bicycles on occasion. It was too cold to swim.
