I haven't stayed at The Elora Mill myself, but I've heard that it is very good. And it is on such a prominent place in Elora, that it is impossible to miss. The inn is perched on the edge of the picturesque Elora Gorge.

Hidden Walking Trails
Alternate views of the Elora Mill Inn and the Elora Gorge can be had by following the lesser known walking trail on the opposite side of the Grand River from the Elora Mill Inn. From the mill, walk to the Geddes Street Bridge, opposite the gas station, cross it and follow the riverbank to the right. Impressive views such as in the attached photos can be had here. Following the paths further will eventually lead to the Elora Gorge Conservation Area. Beware of the high cliffs along the trail.

For a Great Shot of the Inn...
A great place to relax in the pub and sip a hot chocolate overlooking the falls in winter! For a great photo op of the Inn, cross the river and shoot at dusk. See attached photo. Stuffed salmon was very well prepared and flavourful.
Elora
I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit to the village of Elora. It is very quaint, with many pretty shops and cafes. Most of the buildings are beautiful old stone structures.
The old Elora Mill has been situated on the banks of the Grand River since 1832. However, it has since been converted to a charming inn and restaurant.
