It seemed expensive for what it offered

Our early afternoon departure from Toronto followed by a meandering drive along the secondary highways skirting the coast of Lake Ontario meant that it was past 5 PM by the time we pulled into Kingston looking for a place to spend the night. After a quick cruise down the main thoroughfare of Princess Street, we decided that the Comfort Inn looked like it would suit our needs for a one-night stand. It did do the trick for us, but I thought their room rate of C$136 was a bit steep for what the motel had to offer, especially since this worked out to C$155 (US$146) after taxes and other add-ons.

Unique Quality: We had a second level room at the rear of the motel, so it was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The motel is equipped with a wireless internet service, so I was able to catch up on emails before Sue and I watched a TV series we had been following for several weeks. However, the free continental breakfast included in the price was a bit of a disappointment, having a very meagre selection compared to most motels offering a similar service. There was only one type of juice, only coffee available (no tea or hot water) and one type of bagel with cream cheese and some fruit packages for a spread.
