Pioneer Park
Pioneer Park is actually in Cambridge, right off of Hespeler Road. It forms the eastern part of Homer Watson Park, and clings to the eastern shores of the Grand River. Pioneer Park is not nearly as spectacular as Homer Watson Park, largely because it lacks the views of the river and the surrounding area. There is a neat little tower, but much of the park is designed for children and young families, as the surrounding area is heavily residential and has many new developments popping up. Still, it is a cute little area for half-day trips, especially with a dog.
