Beyond here we enter Indian reservations on our way to Saulte-sainte Marie. A rail bridge had the sign painted in huge letters
" INDIAN LAND".
The highway was being widened by dynamiting the mountains of solid rock along the road to widen so cars can pass the slower moving trucks in places.
