The hotel is in the middle of a residential area, a five minute drive from downtown. It is quiet and near the South Thames River.

The hotel is quite unusual compared to most as it started life as a private home for one of London's big shots in the late 1800's.
It has been restored as a 23 room hotel with dining rooms and spa facilities. The furnishings in the common area and the rooms we toured seem to be from the era of the house. There is a special aura that you feel walking in the front door.
