Nice staff, convenient location...
We stayed in a little suite-ish room w/ 2 queen sized beds, and a frig. The room was clean and comfy for 3 full grown adults. Far enough from the lake that one could see the hint of it in the distance, but close enough to smell the moisture, I found the location nice.
No pool, internet for fee, and a full selection of cable channels, there are those who wouldn't even think of leaving the room! NOt me though :) I was able to easily walk to the little mall across the street, and wander the main drag the QEW for a bit to stretch my legs ...
I was impressed with how helpful the staff were. When I mentioned I was thinking of using transit to get to the TO airport, they let me know that because of their location, this would be a long journey (>2H) and suggested alternatives. The alternative I chose was a private car - it was aobut 30$ plus tip and I was able to visit with a wonderful woman who had moved to the area from India about 5 years before. Now if I'd met her at the beginning of my trip I think I could'a been given some great shopping tips :)
Oh! and did I mention that they allow pets???
