Niagara Falls - Spectacular
by megolodon
Obviously the Falls were the most attractive thing about this location and it was the Falls that we went to see.
We stayed at the Sheraton Falls View Hotel, and my did it have some views (as you can see from my photos).
Here is a link to their web site.

This is a very commercialised place but never the less, very friendly and clean. Anyone in the Toronto area, i would recommend hiring a car and driving up there for at least one night.
Niagara on the Lake is also worth a visit as is the One of my fondest memories is going on the Maid of the Mist boat tour. Very worthwhile.
Also, the walk below the falls is pritty cool.
We took a trip to Niagara on the Lake which again i would recommend. This is a lovely little quaint village - check out the Christmas shop. It is also a lovely drive following the "wine" trail. Here is the link for more info http://www.infoniagara.com/attractions/notl/index.html
We took the little bus (paid for the day - you get a little sticker!!)up to the The Whirlpool Aero Car. We decided not to go on it and you get lovely views from the platform without the expense of boarding the car.
We also tool the little bus to the White Water Walk which again I would highly recommend doing. On a lovely day, it is pritty breathtaking. Here is the link to the official page.

Great Gorge Adventure Pass
by Kristin050900
This isn't really an activity, more of a way to save some money. If you have a AAA near you stop in and purchase The Great Gorge Adventure Pass. This is a pass that lets you enjoy some of the attractions at one flat rate instead of paying for eveything seperatly. Included is The Maid of the Mist, White Water Walk, Journey Behind the Falls and The Butterfly Conservatory. You also get free people mover passes for 2 days and a discount at The Spanish Areo Whirlpool Car. You get discounts at some of the food stands, like a free french fry or a beverage.

Use the People Mover shuttles to get from one area to another.
You buy passes which allow you to hop on and off the buses which visit all the points of interest and go to a lot of the motels in the outer regions.
For info call 1-905-357-9346 or check out following website

Excellent place to watch the falls.
by krizt about Don't know but you can't miss it!
We didn't eat here but we sat out on the deck and had a few (probably too many) drinks. It was great because it's right on the Falls walk. Althought we didn't eat- the food looked and smelled really good.
This isn't like a night club or anything. It's just a place to kick back and take everything in. The waiter- and the rest of the staff- was very nice.
