Not the hotel you want if you're looking for something a little more special.It's inexpensive, the rooms are average however. The rooms although large are nothing to write home about. The furnishings, and bedding are quite outdated. All have 2 queen beds, but ours were saggy and too soft. They try to draw you in with a fireplace in every room, however ours did not work. The bathrooms were very small for the size of the rooms. The pool was way to heavy on the chlorine to even think about taking a dip. The hotel parking lot is limited, so they share a lot behind the hotel, and up the street with the hotel next door, which is quite a walk if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel is also about 2 miles or more from the falls no matter what they say. Our supposed 10 minute walk was really 22 minutes.
If you must stay however, take the package plan if offered. Buffet breakfast in their Whirlpool dining room for 2 mornings, and dinner one evening at the restaurant in the hotel next door. Frankly, the dinner was the best part of the stay. I would not really recommend this hotel unless you are extremely budget minded and willing to put up with it's bad location, bad parking, marginal rooms, and unconcerned staff. Leave a Comment
