The sweetest suites in town

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on May 24, 2007

A group of us checked into the Embassy in late March, and we had a ball. We were a large group, and the front desk put all of our rooms right together. Other hotels said they couldn't do that, but the Embassy did. They were great to us! The suites are gorgeous. All the furniture looks brand new. The beds were heavenly. I got the greatest nights sleep there! We all had views of Niagara Falls from our room, and it was just beautiful. We could see everything! The complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent. We were seated quickly, and all the food was hot and great. We also loved dining at The Keg. That's their restaurant on the 9th floor. That too has a great view. The location was the best out of any hotel in the area. 2 thumbs up for the hotel and their staff. They made our trip that much more enjoyable.

Unique Quality: friendliest staff in a hotel ever

Booked a family fun package over two nights for $400US which included breakfasts, CAN$40 voucher for dinner at a restaurant and free tickets to attractions nearby. The suite was really big and had the view of the horseshoe falls. Breakfast was served in the TFI Fridays attached and was a buffet with plenty of choice.

The pool was skanky to say the least and only around 20m x 8m depth 1m max, again clearly for the children. When in the pool area families kept checking it out and making a hasty exit. There is an outdoor terrace for sunbathing in the summer but this does not face the falls.

Included in the price is a 'managers reception' that promises drinks and snacks. Unlimited soft drinks and tea/coffee and bombay mix and crisps (potato chips) as a snack. Not pleasant really but the drinks are free and you get up to two alcoholic freebies if you want.

Another inclusion is a ton of tokens in the arcade. The arcade has about eight machines to spend them on.

Car parking is paid for on top of your bill around $20 Canadian a day I think.

Unique Quality: The suites are great. View of the falls, two queen beds with tv, jacuzzi bath, seperate toilet and shower, sink and tea/coffee and a sitting room with table chairs, bed settee and another tv. These things can sleep up to seven people.

This hotel is good value and clean. Nothing spectacular yet good enough. I think my judgement is a little biased as we had arrived via NY and Ithaca where we had the personal touch of two great hosts and the corproate feel of this place was a contrast. Our daughter, aged 10, thought this was the best place we stayed at though.

Recommendation? Yes as long as you know what to expect it is hard to beat in value and the suites are great.

A beautiful, convenient hotel

Had a business trip in early April, and the company put me up at the Embassy Suites. I really enjoyed it. The business center in the lobby made doing my work much easier, and so did the set up in the room. It is convenient when a hotel has a restaurant too, and this one has 2 great ones. TGI Fridays and The Keg, you cannot go wrong. Also, the complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious and quick! Great location too. For my "off" time I walked right down to the falls. Nice!

Unique Quality: 2 fantastic restaurants, nice lobby

No other hotel like it!

Our family had such an unbelievably great time at the Embassy Suites. Their staff is incredible. They were very friendly, and so helpful. The rate was very reasonable, and of course it includes a full hot breakfast buffet for everyone. The hotel has 2 restaurants inside, and we loved that. The Keg is awesome! The food and service were great. On to the room...what a view!! I can't even describe it, other than breathtaking. We just stared out the window taking it all in. It's the closest hotel to Niagara Falls. You can walk to anything from there. The room were clean and fresh. Everything was terrific!!!

Unique Quality: great view, so close to the falls

THE place to stay

I could rave for days about how wonderful the Embassy Suites is! Our trip in March went great. Everything ran smoothly, and we owe to to the hotel and their staff. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We had a few odd requests, and all of our requests were honored. The staff didn't question anything we had asked for. We had a large group, so lots of requests!! The rooms were all together and in a quiet hallway. The suites were gorgeous. They were very clean. The housekeepers do a marvelous job there. The location is perfect. It must be the closest hotel to Niagara Falls. Our view form the room was incredible. This hotel has it all.

Unique Quality: quiet hallways, accommodating staff, great views

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were sparkling clean, and they have an awesome lobby. It looks like something from Vegas. There is a dynamite view of Niagara Falls from the rooms and from their restaurant (which was also great I might add!) The service was great too. Everyone was cheerful. Our kids enjoyed themselves at the pool. It's the perfect size and wasn't crowded at all. The free breakfast buffet was a huge plus. All was excellent.

Unique Quality: great view of Niagara Falls, nice pool area, great breakfast buffet-FREE!

Best hotel ever!!

For a little March getaway, my husband and I went to Niagara Falls. We fell in love with the Embassy Suites!! Our room was so incredible. It was a "fallsview" suite. That's what you got-Falls view that was unreal. We got the best pictures just from our room!! The jacuzzi in the room was perfect, and you could even see the falls while you were in it. We liked that the room had a fridge and micro, plus minibar. They also have a restaurant, The Keg, in the hotel. That was great too. Great food, and again, great views. We loved this place!

Unique Quality: great view of the falls, sparkling clean rooms

The absolute best

After checking out probably 10 Niagara Falls hotels, and actually checking out of one because it was so awful, we chose the Embassy Suites. We were thrilled we had! The service was excellent. I have never encountered such a fine group of workers that were all so friendly, helpful, bright and willing to assist. They went above and beyond their call of duty. Hats off to all of them. The room was spacious and it was very clean. You could've eaten off the floor. This hotel has the best view of the falls. The other hotels cannot compare. Also, the full hot breakfast buffet is included, and that was quite tasty. This hotel is very impressive, and we are recommending it to everyone we know.

Unique Quality: excellent service

We had such an enjoyable stay at The Embassy Suites in February, that we already booked a Spring trip to go back!! We are a family of 4, and we decided to stay in one room. There was plenty of room. The suite had a door that closed off the 2 rooms. That was great. The kids had their own little space to watch TV and movies. They loved that. The view from the room was spectacular. The fact that you got a free breakfast was great.

Unique Quality: great rooms, nice breakfast, great pool

A GREAT weekend!

I brought my 2 teenage daughters and 2 of their friends to The Embassy Suites for a nice girls weekend. We had a really nice time. I got 2 adjoining rooms which worked out really well. The girls were in one room, and I in the other. It was safe and convenient. The rooms were very spacous. We had more than enough room for the 5 of us. The rooms had a fridge microwave and minibar (which I enjoyed!). The jacuzzi was great. The girls loved it. There was an excellent view of the falls from both rooms. We walked to most attractions. The hotel is in a great spot. It is right near everything. I saw lots of families enjoying themselves. The hotel was great. I recommend it to anyone.

Unique Quality: nice clean rooms, great pool, unbelievable views and location

I had to travel through Niagara Falls Canada on business, and I had the pleasure of staying at The Embassy Suites. I was very impressed. Everyone from the valet staff to the housekeepers and wait staff were all very friendly, and professional. There is a convenient business right off the lobby, and that is close to TGI Fridays and The Keg, which I utilized a lot. The pool and fitness center were nice too. A comp breakfast is a must for business travelers, and this hotel nails it. It was delicious, and most of all-quick and easy!!

Unique Quality: nice amenities, convenient location

2 thumbs up!!

Our family agreed that the Embassy was the nicest hotel we had ever stayed in. We travel a lot, so it means a great deal when we find a place that we really like. The location was just perfect. Anything you wanted to see or do, you could pretty much walk to. OUr suite was beautifl. It was spacious with an incredible view of Niagara Falls. The lights on the falls at night are gorgeous!! We found the staff to be quite friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this hotel to travelers.

Unique Quality: location & staff were terrific

We took our 3 young children to Niagara Falls Canada for a few days in early December. We had such a nice time. All the kids enjoyed themselves. They loved the pool! We went down every morning after the "free" breakfast buffet. They loved the routine. We did a lot of walking, so by the end of the day they were exhausted! It was convenient having 2 restaurants inside the hotel. We all loved The Keg. We ate, then went right up to the room. The view was absolutely gorgeous from our room. We are hoping to take a summer trip here too!

Unique Quality: convenience

Our family had the pleasure of staying at The Embassy Suites in November. We had rented 2 rooms for our large family, and we had more than enough room. It was wonderful. The rooms were very clean-the housekeeping staff was superb. The view from our room was incredible. The kids could not bellieve what they saw. We enjoyed the free buffet each morning before we ventured out to the falls. We were really impressed with the accommodations here.

Unique Quality: the view

A great getaway

Our family had a nice little weekend getaway to the falls in late November. We have 3 young children, and they had a great time. There is tons for children and adults to do. The hotel is in a great location. We walked to most places (weather was great). We booked connecting rooms and that worked out very well. The rooms were spacious, and very clean. The hotel seemed very busy, but the hallways were extremely quiet. The complimentary breakfast buffet each morning was a great bonus, and a nice start to our day. We loved the hotel.

Unique Quality: great views, and location...pool too
