A Budget Place to See The Falls!

During my break in Toronto, I spent a couple of days in Niagara Falls and stayed at this hostel.

I decided to have my own room and I had a pleasant stay.

The hostel has 88 beds and a self-service kitchen. Breakfast isn't included in the rate but you can purchase this option at a reasonable price (although I was disappointed with it).

Although the hostel was comfortable and near to the bus and railway stations, the walk to falls themselves takes a good 20 mins along The River Road and at night the road isn't the safest to venture on. I had to get a taxi back to the hostel from the falls area on the 2nd night after almost getting pelted by eggs by a passing car on the first night! I would recommend that you book another hostel or hotel in the falls if you want to spend all your time there.

Unique Quality: The hostel promotes Ecotourism.

I understand the hostel now includes continental breakfast in the rates.

Best hippy hostel ever

HI-Niagara Falls. Stay there. I've never had such a good time at a hostel. First off, it's a hippy hostel, so everyone is chill and very cool. Secondly, every day they have some kind of hostel activity - drum circles, potlucks, informative workshops, etc. And finally, it's very close to the attractions and probably the cheapest place to stay at in the Falls area.

Unique Quality: outstanding characteristics of this accommodation - the people!

  • Opinion of Price: least expensive
