Inn by the Falls, Niagara Falls, Canada - Reviews and Hotel Information

The only good thing about this place was that the front desk staff was friendly. The rooms were dark and small with low ceilings and had a strange odor. Both nights we were there, we could hear an animal scratching inside the walls. This was very disturbing! Also, the continental breakfast left much to be desired. Fruit, generic OJ and slices of bread didn't seem very appetizing to me. We ended up getting Burger King one morning and a breakfast buffet at a hotel across from BK the next day. I would definitely advise spending more on a nicer room. If I go again, I will be staying in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It's a 10-15 minute drive from the Falls and is a great little town with shops, wineries and adorable bed-and-breakfasts. If you like the busy, hectic, "carnival" atmosphere, then stay at the strip (in a nicer chain hotel!). If you're looking for a nice, quaint place to stay that's within a very short drive to the other attractions, go for a B-n-B in Niagara-on-the-Lake!

If I had to choose something unique, it would be that this hotel was not right on the main strip, so you didn't have all of the "hustle and bustle" right outside your door. It was still within a short walking distance to casinos. It was also reasonably priced, but I've found that you get what you pay for.
