KING'S INN NEAR THE FALLS by Traciecat My husband and I chose this little hotel based upon their website which is nicely done up to show the rooms, hotel and outside pool area and also based upon their great prices. we stayed three nights in mid July and our first night was less than sixty dollars american and the other two nights were not much more. We had originally just hoped to make the best of a cheaper hotel and thus have more money to do some of the other things in the area that we had planned. What a surprise this place was, very very clean and the owners are so friendly and really go out of their way to help you with anything you might need. It may not be one of the fanciest hotels in the area (nor one of the more run down ones in the area) but it is small, quiet, clean and cozy. No noisy children screaming in the area and is up away from the Clifton Hill tourist area a bit so traffic is not as bad as further on down towards the falls. Free HBO in your room, air conditioning that worked wonderfully, free ice, and you are given several booklets with coupons in them for attractions in the general area upon check in. Our room was handled nicely by the maid every single morning and we left the hotel with not one single complaint and very happy about our experience there. We intend to keep this as our preferred hotel to stay at when we visit the area, which will be again soon. Give King's Inn a try if you are trying to save a few dollars by avoiding the fancier hotel chains down by the Falls, you will be pleased.
Is only a few blocks away from The Falls yet is far enough away to avoid alot of the noiser crowds down on Clifton Hill area. A very clean looking little pool which was rarely used while we were there so would be a great place to come back to and relax in after a long day of seeing the sights. Owners are very friendly and anxious to help with anything you might need. If you are up for walking for a few blocks, you can skip taking the car and walk to the tourist areas and the Falls. GREAT prices!!! :)
