Plastic ponchos
by Dabs
Unless you want to have a collection of plastic ponchos, consider being enviornmentally friendly and reuse your plastic ponchos, we got one at the Maid of the Mist and would have gotten two more if we didn't reuse them at Niagara's Fury and Journey Behind the Falls.

Prepare to walk
by Kristin050900
You have to pay for parking everywhere in Niagara Falls and it is not cheap. So your best bet is to walk everywhere that you can. If you sign up for the Great Gorge Adventure Pass, you can get around on a people mover. These take you to all the major attractions of Niagara Falls and thy run about every 15-20 minutes.
Great Local Hangout !
by Fletcho about Flying Saucer Drive-In, The
Get away from the tourist traps and enjoy some of the local flavor of this restaurant. Authentic atmosphere and good food -- our best in Niagara. Waitresses were friendly and even brought our son an extra dessert for free.
In the Lundy Lane section. The haddock, deep fried with fries. It doesn't get any better.
