The Lady of the Mist(ery of getting rich)
by manuelEB
Niagara is a "Manny" splendorous thing
[...] In the morning mist, two lovers kissed and the world stood still...
Then your fingers touch my (censured) (censured)...
Mistery and Misery.
I was talking to some kids of Albania about the misery in their country. The kid says i´m an ignorant. Hoxa`s regime ended in 1985. After 21 years of "freedom" this is the report.

The saddest thing in life is not to be aware of the reality of our own country. That´s sad!!!
Don't miss The Maid of the Mist

These boats are ALL engine as they take you close to the falls -- between the sound of the water, the sound of the engine and the fact you are getting very very wet -- it is a total sensory experience!

Niagara-on-the-Lake
by chrissyalex
Niagara-on-the-Lake is a very pretty town approximately 20 kilometers from Niagara Falls. The drive from the falls is a pleasant one and you can visit wineries and fruit stands along the way,
The town itself is filled with flowers! Everywhere there are window boxes, hanging baskets and gardens. All the meridians in the center of the main street are filled with flower gardens also.
This IS also a tourist town but the shops and restaurants are nicer.
Turbulence
by CliffClaven
If, like old Cliffie, you always set off for Niagara Falls from New York, the only sensible way to do it is to take the easy one-hour flight to Buffalo Niagara International Airport and pick up a hire car for the 45-minute drive to the Falls. On the way back, old Cliffie hopes you fare better than he did on one turbulent, let's-get-this-baby-on-the-ground flight during an East Coast blizzard that was blanketing most of southern New York state and New Jersey. As the 737 lurched sickeningly sideways, the pilot laconically announced: Ladies and gentlemen, we shall shortly be landing - if I can find the goddam airport.
