    Don't do what I did and confuse the Renaissance Fallsview on Fallsview Boulevard (which is a Marriott) with the Marriott Fallsview on Fallsview Boulevard. That's what we did, but I'm glad after we settled in that we had gotten the cheaper of the two. The location is better, and all the amenities are top noch. Even though we booked through Priceline, they did not treat us like cheapskates. They gave us a room with two bedrooms so the kids actually got thier own room. The bed linens were the really good kind, with big pillows and thick comforters. The only negative was the food prices, but all of NF is that way. We skipped the regular breakfast buffet and went out the back door to the new $6.99 breakfast buffet place accross the street. The best part was the location. Out the front door is the new Casino, and you are in walking distance of Clifton Hill, the Skylon tower and the IMAX theater...not to mention the...what was that again? Oh yes....the falls. We could even see the fireworks from our window. I highly recommend this hotel!! Just to note...since I booked off season on Priceline I got a really low price. I can't say what they normally charge.

    The outstanding part for us was all the special touches for the kids. They had a kids check-in counter with a drawing for a toy, and free little stuffed beavers. They had a special kids buffet in the dining room on Saturday and Sunday and afterwords had a show just for the kids. They also had a special activity room that was staffed with three people to play games, playstation, and do crafts and face painting. Of course the kids loved the heated pool too. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of touring where you didn't have to worry about the kids making noise or bothering anyone.

    We just love the service and kindness of the staff. Breakfasts were unforgettable, with the variety of plates: bacon and eggs, pancakes, several kinds of bread, popcorn, yoghurts...

    Luxurious hotel with great (Canadian or European style?) meals. The jacuzzi bathtubs were extremely relaxing.

  • If you are planning to stay anywhere else, don't! This hotel is wonderful for so many reasons. First of all, the rate was fantastic. It was at least 25.00 less a night than other hotels we called. When you're traveleing with a large family, 25.00 is a big deal! The hotel was great for kids too. The pool insdie the hotel has a waterfall. The kids loved it. We enjoyed the restaurant too. My husband and I both agreed that the room was the nicest we have ever stayed in. It was very clean, and offered a convenient set up. The location is superb. You are pretty close to all the major attractions...especially the falls!!!! Stop searching for another hotel!

  • My husband and I decided to take our honeymoon to Niagara Falls. After reading great reviews of this hotel, we chose it. The reviews were true! We were 100% satisfied with the Renaissance. We found the staff to be very accommodating. Everyone congratulated us, it made it so personal. The view from our suite was gorgeous. Very romantic. The location is ideal. We were able to walk to all the attractions...and of course, right to the falls! It was a honeymoon I will never forget. Partly thanks to the hotel-it's beautiful!!

  • My husband and I loved thios hotel. It was so romantic. The view of the falls from our room was incredible. I will never forget what that looks like. We enjoyed just staring out the window! The staff was terrific. Very helpful. The location is the best. It is right near the falls, so you can pretty much walk to any destination. It was great!

  • Our family just loved the Renaissance hotel! The staff was so cheerful and helpful. The views of Niagara Falls were just amazing!! The location of the hotel is great...just a hop skip and a jump away from the falls. That was really convenient. The kids loved the pool too! We give it 4 stars. You will too!

  • The Renaissance is a woderful hotel. Our experience was fantastic. We are a family of 5 including 2 teens, and to say everyone had a great time on the vacation is rare!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They checked us in, and boy, were we impressed with our room and view. Just beautiful!! The location is perfect-right at the falls. They also have a waterfall pool inside the hotel that we all loved. We just thought this hotel was the ebst. We were 100% satisfied.

  • This hotel is great for the whole family. There is something for people of all ages to do. My husband and I loved the restaurants and lounges, the kids adored the waterfall pool. We all loved the location. It is so close to the falls. You are literally right there. We walked right down to the falls during the afternoon and did some great sightseeing. The rates were very reasonable too. The rooms were terrific!

  • This hotel is so beautiful. My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend and we absolutely loved it. The lobby is so gorgeous. It looks like it should be in Manhattan. It is really cool. The people were all really nice and they helped us out in deciding what to do/see. Our room had a great view of the fallls. It was really romantic. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant a lot.

  • This place has all the goods! A fantastic location for starters. We had a view of Niagara Falls from our suite, and it was lovely. It is a huge bonus when you are able to walk to most destinations (save lots of $$ not taking cabs). The hotel is close to pretty much everything in the area. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was large. Everything was in tip-top shape. Great hotel!
