Super 8 Niagara Falls

Basic no-nonsense accommodations. We booked one of the two person jacuzzi rooms and the Sunday night rate was a deal. You get a "breakfast" buffet with your stay but it's pretty bare: toast, cereal, coffee/tea/juice, and little donuts. Lots of parking and they're quite friendly to leaving your car there after check out so you can squeeze some more time into your visit. It's all above ground parking and the lot appears quite busy so not too much worries about someone breaking into your car when thieves know guests have checked out and loaded the car with valuables and left it there for the day.

As another reviewer noted, a mini bar would be nice but this is a place you're probably going to be spending 1 or 2 nights max, so a bucket of ice will do you.

Unique Quality: The location is quite fine. It's far enough from the strip that you can slip into and slip out of the hotel without having to drive through heavy hot spot traffic. It's kind of perched at the top of the whole tourist district. Walk straight for 15 minutes and you're in the clifton hills "funky" part of town. Hang a right and you're in the casino district and then a short walk down to the American falls with a nice starbucks along the way.

I stayed here for my 19th birthday. The room was clean with the basic ammenities, (no fridge or microwave) the staff was nice. Has a small bar in the lobby (expensive). 2 pools one inside and out, but lots of kids, best bet early in the morning. A good walk to the falls 15 minutes or so.

Unique Quality: 2 pools but no hot tub, small bar nice, nothing too spectacular.

We stayed at the Super 8. The rooms were big and the hotel is with in walking distance of pretty much everything. The people were nice. And, there is a little bar downstairs with a pool table. It was a nice and fairly inexpensive place.

Unique Quality: Bar in the lobby- Most Super 8's don't have one- there may have been a pool- I don't remember.
Also- when I first got there- it was really late at night and I didn't figure in the currency or something- kinda fuzzy- but I didn't have enough money and I couldn't get the money until the next day- they could've been really mean and not let me stay but they let me pay the next day and they were really nice about it too!

Directions: When you come across the bridge from New York to Canada, I think the road comes to a T. Turn left and you're on the main drag. It's up ahead on your left. It's been a while so they might not be exact!
