We are a middle aged couple (young at heart) who will be treating our 25 yr old daughter and boyfriend to dinner in Niagara-on-the-Lake on an upcoming Friday night. Can you please recommend a CASUAL restaurant in town that has exceptionally great food?

I would recommend the Stone Road Grille (http://www.stoneroadgrille.com/). I've eaten there once and the food was excellent and there was a great atmosphere. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's actually NotL's best kept secret ;o)

Well here you can see that this Cenotaph is in the middle of the road , but it is easy to get to ,nobody in this pretty town seems to be going very fast ,because there is so much to see and most people here are tourist and visitors .There is plenty of room to stand in front of the Cenothaph and pay your respect to the fallen soldiers.
Take some time to go to sit along to edge of Lake Ontario and watch the sailboats. You may want to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a snack while soaking up the sun and views! There are plenty of spots to pull off and park for this type of relaxing activity at no cost. The water is so clean and blue and there seem to be an endless amount of sailboats on the Lake at any point. The really isn't any beach that we found around this area to speak of but plenty of grass with wonderful shady trees to sit under and a few benches too.
If you are in this area, or indeed within a reasonable drive from this area, you have to come and do some winery tours here.
There are dozens of winery's to choose from, and there are some very good free brochures/maps provided by the locals.
I had a total ball and will definately be back here again.
