Sheraton Parkway
Hi,
I am thinking of staying in Sheraton Parkway for their Wonderland Package but I'm wondering whether there's any bus stop/train station nearby. Is it convenient to go to downtown from the hotel?

The hotel is NOT close to downtown, and really requires car transportation to be convenient to anything.
I do believe there is a bus that goes near there, but primarily in the morning and evening rush-hours. Check www.toronto.ca/ttc for their routes, and you can get the link to Markham Transit and York Regional Transit too from that site. Those would give you schedules/routes. There is a 25 bus that goes down Don Mills Road connecting to the subway system at Sheppard, and you can change then at Yonge & Sheppard for the main line downtown, but I know that you have to pay extra fare for the northern part of the bus route.

Thank you for your reply. But is the hotel near Wonderland like it says? We are not driving and basically have to depend on public transport ;( I know Finch Station is nearby but will we be able to get to Wonderland from there?

Not really close to Wonderland... but frankly without a car, none of the hotels truly are close to Wonderland. Check with the TTC page link, they should show if there is a Wonderland bus, and if it goes from Finch, or if you have to get to Yorkdale or York Mills.
The hotel isn't really close to Finch station either. There's probably a bus that goes there, but not sure if only weekdays or if on weekends too.

I'm coming from Dunnville...biggest town near here would be Hamilton.
The reason we want Parkway because it says it is the nearest and they have jacuzzi suite - kinda like a late honeymoon thing for us ;)

They have bus service fron the York Mills and Yorkdale TTC subway stations until Aug 31.
